Handbook · Vienna 2022

how 2 SUMMER SCHOOL

A guide to organising transdisciplinary, regional summer schools

The handbook collects what the team learned running Summer School 21 “Zukunftsland Lungau – Innovation, Gender Arrangements and the Rural Area” and turns it into something other teams can reuse. It covers the whole way from the first decision to the final invoice: a timeline starting 14 months ahead, roles in the organising and teaching team, a budget checklist, the application procedure, a collection of tried formats and methods, and two fully worked model week plans. Written by Grinzinger, Kayser, Sterna and Stumfol at the Institute of Spatial Planning, TU Wien. The handbook is in German.
