CTS//circle.ethics explores the role of responsibility in technological innovation from a socio-technical perspective in a comprehensive way. It builds on the concept of Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) as defined by Schomberg (2013), which promotes an inclusive, transparent, and responsive approach to research and innovation.
Key areas include understanding the societal impact of technologies, addressing ethical considerations, promoting inclusivity in innovation processes, and fostering transparency and public engagement in technology decision making (Wickson & Carew, 2014). This work aims to provide insights and recommendations for the responsible development and use of technologies in today's dynamic, interconnected world.
