This exploration is grounded in theories like Porter's cluster theory (Porter, 1998), emphasizing the benefits of regional cooperation and clusters for competitive advantage. Next, the role of innovation is examined, highlighting how innovation is key to enhancing both productivity and sustainability. Theories such as Schumpeter's understanding of entrepreneurial innovation (Schumpeter, 1934) are used to provide insights into the dynamics of technological advancements and their relationship with economic growth. Finally, the circle studies and discusses socio-technical approaches, focusing on integrating human and technological factors in modern systems. Drawing on concepts like Mumford's socio-technical systems (Mumford, 2006), the circle emphasizes balancing technical efficiency and social considerations, such as workplace dynamics and ethical concerns.

Prof. DI Dr. Hilda Tellioğlu participated as a keynote speaker at the MERCADO Workshop (Multimodal Experiences for Remote Communication Around Data Online) on November 2, 2025, at IEEE VIS 2025, where she contributed important conceptual impulses.
